This item is a Western Electric type 284 G oak box. The door and backboard have been trimmed off sometime in the past. Inside are two little coils (one for each line). There are 2 buttons on the front that are missing their caps, and there is a twist switch dial on the front. |

Unknown manufacturer under table or wall mount oak magneto box (a part). Sometimes these were mounted on the wall and used to set a candlestick phone on. This oak magneto box is in very good condition and the finish is good. See the white surface mark on the left panel of the box. See the adhesive on the door. See the scratches on the bottom panel of the box. The 5 bar magneto doesn’t ring. |
